Dutch startups Holoconnects, VoxAI, and Happybase are ready for the US market

Seventy Dutch startups represented the Netherlands at CES 2024, the world's largest technology fair, held this week in Las Vegas. CES is no longer just about gadgets, it has become the global stage where category-defining technology companies announce themselves to the world.

Among them, three companies stood out for the way they each connect their core technology to a clear, growing US‑market opportunity: Holoconnects, VoxAI, and Happybase.

Holoconnects, life size holographic communication

For Holoconnects, participating in the NL Pavilion at CES is also about tapping into the immense opportunities the US market offers. North America is a crucial growth market.

"We are growing rapidly in Europe, and we are seeing North America as an important growth market," said Andre Smith, founder of Holoconnects. "With the opening of our US office in Miami in Q4 2023, we see this as our official launch in the US for our Holobox, the Holobox Mini, and the Holobox Modular."

Holoconnects' Holobox is a life size hologram display used across hospitality, telehealth, retail, events, and education. The Holobox Mini is a desktop-scale variant, and the Holobox Modular allows event organisers to assemble larger holographic walls for high-impact installations.

Why CES matters for European deep-tech

CES has evolved from a consumer-gadget showcase into the central venue where deep-tech companies, especially European ones with a strong US ambition, establish credibility with American buyers, investors, and media. For startups like Holoconnects, the NL Pavilion provides a curated environment that compresses months of US business development into a few days on the floor.
