First US hospital with hologram patient care
In May 2024 Crescent Regional Hospital — an acute care hospital less than an hour south of Dallas — became the first US hospital to deploy lifesize 3D holographic technology for patient care: an 86" Holobox plus video studio, with Holobox Mini displays rolling out across associated clinics. Doctors teleport in real-time as a lifesize hologram to consult patients anywhere.
