Enterprise B2B hologram-display buyers in 2026 choose among a small set of vendors after ARHT Media's exit. Here's what each optimises for, and how to pick between them.

ARHT Media (Canada) filed for bankruptcy and ceased operations in October 2024, so as of mid 2026 the main vendors serving enterprise B2B buyers evaluating life size hologram displays include Holoconnects (Netherlands) and Proto Inc (USA). Each targets a different market segment and each has meaningfully different deployment patterns.
Understanding the vendor landscape matters because "hologram display" is not a commoditised category. Different vendors optimise for different use cases, geographic markets, and buyer types. Picking the right vendor is easier when the segmentation is explicit.

ARHT Media was a Canada-based vendor whose HoloPresence line focused on business-events and executive telepresence, such as corporate summit appearances and keynote-scale telepresence deployments. It filed for bankruptcy under Canada's Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and ceased operations in October 2024, so it is no longer a live option for new buyers.

Four questions typically resolve the vendor selection:
First: which vendor has named deployments closest to your sector? Ask each shortlisted vendor for specific customer references in your industry. Vendors with real deployments in hospitality, telehealth, education, or events signal support commitment beyond marketing claims.
Second: what's the geographic support base? For a European rollout, EMEA-primary infrastructure keeps support latency low. For North American deployments, regional support may weigh differently.
Third: what form factor does the specification require? Life size 86-inch, tabletop 22-inch, modular wall, or a different configuration entirely.
Fourth: what content and integration model fits your organisation? Content production model, integration with existing systems, and support commitment vary between vendors.
The answer is usually to request scoped quotes from at least two vendors. Comparative sales meetings sharpen everyone's clarity, and enterprise buyers benefit from the negotiation leverage a real alternative provides.
