Retail · Storefront activation
Stop the foot traffic. Start the conversation.
A life size hologram in the store window is a hard thing to walk past. A brand hero character, a spokesperson, an interactive AI-hologram host, whatever fits the retail moment, the Holobox renders it at full scale with the perceived depth that a flat screen physically can’t produce.
The problem
Retail signage habituates fast.
LED walls and flat displays work great for continuous content, but passersby habituate within days. What was novel on Tuesday reads as background by Friday. For a retail activation, launch moment, or flagship store hero, the goal is the opposite: an installation people talk about afterwards.
A hologram doesn’t habituate. The perceived depth continues to trigger the same reaction across repeat visits. That’s why retail hologram deployments have unusually long content lifespans compared to flat-screen campaigns.
Configurations
Three retail hologram formats.
- Storefront window activation. A Holobox facing the street through the store window. Passing foot traffic sees the hologram from outside. Works in bright daylight due to the anti-reflection glass and light-box engineering.
- In-store product reveal. A Hologrid wall, 2 to 5 synchronized Holoboxes, for large scale hero moments. Visit Britain’s Paris Gare du Nord activation used this configuration.
- Tabletop retail counter. The Holobox Mini (22-inch) on a counter, for product placement, hologram-of-the-product displays, or a compact brand host.
Interactive: AI Hologram in retail
A hologram host that talks back.
For retail deployments where the goal is engagement rather than just impression, the AI Hologram tier deploys an interactive character that responds conversationally. Capgemini “Fatima” in Abu Dhabi is a reference deployment for the retail + AI combination.
