No, one crate, one hour on site. The Holobox arrives as a self contained unit, plugs into a standard 220V outlet, and (for live telepresence) connects to your network. The Holoconnects installation team handles the delivery, physical installation, and content deployment, the venue just needs power, optional network, and a clear route to the installation site.
What the venue prepares
- Power. A standard 220V outlet at the intended installation position.
- Network (optional). Wired connection with 10 Mbps up/10 Mbps down minimum, if the Holobox will run live telepresence mode. Not required for pre recorded playback.
- Route clearance. A path from unloading point to installation site that accommodates the 206 cm tall, 140 cm wide unit, through doorways, elevators, and hallways. Our project managers verify this during pre installation planning.
- Floor / stage load. Standard reinforced floors (retail, hospitality, conference venues) support the 250 kg unit. Stage placement requires 350 kg minimum floor rating for safety margin.
What Holoconnects handles
- Delivery. Truck ships the crate to the venue on a scheduled date. Coordinated with venue facilities team.
- Physical installation. Holoconnects installers unpack, position, and connect the unit. Typical on site setup time: about an hour.
- Content deployment. Content ships with the Holobox (for pre recorded mode) or is prepared for live streaming (for two way telepresence). Playback validated before installers leave.
- Network setup (if needed). For live telepresence, our team works directly with your IT team to open the streaming ports and verify latency.
- Post install support. Any teething issues after installation are handled by the Holoconnects support team. Content updates handled remotely.
Multi-site rollouts
For deployments across multiple locations (retail chain, hospitality group, multi-city event tour), Holoconnects coordinates installations in a scheduled sequence. The multi location CIC Hospitality rollout, planned for 30 hotels is a reference deployment for this pattern, same install team, consistent process, repeatable across sites.
For rental deployments (events, launches, campaign windows), the same crate ships to the event venue. Delivery, installation and pickup are listed as separate lines in the rental quote; on site technical support during the event is optional and quoted separately. See hologram hire.
