When rental fits
Rental is the right model when you need a Holobox for a specific window, an event, a launch, a limited-run activation, rather than as permanent hardware in a hotel front desk, hospital consult room, or corporate lobby. If the use case is a fixed installation, buying amortises within the first year.
- Product launch or press event. A one-week activation on stage, with a life size holographic spokesperson or product hero. Deployments here include the BMW i5 launch (Urban Media × Clear Channel) and multiple CES showcases.
- Trade show or conference. One CEO keynote deployed simultaneously on multiple event stands via pre recorded content. Rentals scale here, hardware at each venue, single content package.
- Broadcast / TV studio. Life size holographic journalists or guest presenters teleported into the studio for a segment. CANAL+ uses this pattern.
- Diplomatic / government events. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed launched the Smart Mission project via a Holobox; the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has used the same setup for other public events.
- Art installations. Time-limited exhibitions where the hologram is part of the artwork (Gary James McQueen at West Chelsea Contemporary).
- Short run brand activation. Retail campaign over a fortnight, seasonal pop-up, or executive video appearance at a partner conference.

What you arrange on your side: venue-side power and internet requirements (the Holobox needs 230V mains and 10 Mbps up/down for live mode), stage or floor load rating (350 kg minimum), and any content-rights clearances for talent or brand assets.

- Holobox, the flagship life size unit. Right for launches, keynotes, executive appearances at scale, and premier trade-show stands. ~2 metres tall, plug and play.
- Holobox Mini, tabletop form factor. Right for retail counters, hospitality reception desks, and constrained spaces. Faster to deploy than the full Holobox.
- Hologrid, modular interactive hologram wall. Right for large format trade-show installations, retail launches, and events where the wall itself is part of the visual.
- AI Hologram, pre trained holographic avatar. Right when the content needs to interact with visitors (a hologram spokesperson answering questions on a stand). Deploys fastest because the avatar is ready-to-go.
