What content do I need for a hologram?

Talent, a script or message, creative direction, and delivery requirements. Holoconnects handles the studio, multi angle capture, and format processing. Below: the concrete content-preparation checklist for a Holobox deployment.

The content-prep checklist

  1. Talent. Who or what appears as the hologram. A spokesperson, a host, a trainer, a product hero unit. For talent-based content: name, availability window, wardrobe direction. For product-based content: the physical unit available for multi angle capture, or reference materials for pre-existing product footage.
  2. Script or message outline. What the talent says or does. For products: the story arc of the reveal or demo. Doesn’t need to be finalised at the first conversation, a clear direction is enough to scope the shoot.
  3. Creative direction. Tone, pacing, brand voice. For AI Hologram deployments: the character’s personality and knowledge scope. Reference materials (existing brand videos, spokesperson content, tone guides) help us match your voice.
  4. Delivery requirements. Where the finished content plays (single Holobox at one venue, multi-Holobox rollout at multiple venues, event rental), on which Holobox variant (86-inch flagship, Holobox Mini, Hologrid wall), and when the on site playback needs to go live.

What Holoconnects handles

Timeline expectations

With the content prep above delivered on schedule, most projects run 4-8 weeks from initial brief to on site playback. Fast-path (existing footage, tight brief) can go in 2-3 weeks. What content do I need to bring for a hologram deployment?

Do I need to shoot my own footage?

No. Content is captured at the Holoconnects Recording Station in Culemborg (or with a mobile capture rig at your location). Standard smartphone or DSLR footage doesn't produce depth-cue behaviour the Holobox needs, you'd need multi angle capture against a controlled backdrop, which is why we handle the shoot.

Can I bring pre-existing footage?

For a fast-path deployment, yes, if the footage was captured with multi angle coverage suitable for hologram processing. Most standard video isn't. Send a sample to a Holoconnects project manager for evaluation; if the footage is workable, deployment can happen in 2-3 weeks instead of the standard 4-8.

What if my talent can't travel to Culemborg?

The mobile capture rig deploys to your location. This is how executive talent (a CEO whose schedule can't accommodate travel to the Netherlands) is captured. Same quality outcomes as the studio session; small logistics premium for travel.
