Hologram keynote speaker: beam a CEO onto your stage

A hologram keynote speaker is a real person who appears life size on a Holoconnects Holobox on your stage, live from a studio or pre-recorded, without travelling to the event. The audience sees the speaker at full size with depth, with no headset and no glasses. In the live mode the speaker hears the room and can answer questions.

Two ways to put a speaker on stage

Many events use both: a pre-recorded opening, then the speaker live for the questions.

Where a speaker has been beamed onto a stage

What you need at the venue

The full technical specification, including the ports to open, is shared during project planning.

One speaker, several stages

One origin Holobox can broadcast to several destination Holoboxes at the same time. A CEO can address several event stands, or several venues of a roadshow, with the same live presence.

Buy, lease or rent

The 86 starts at EUR 25,000. For one event, a rental is usually the question; it is quoted per event or per period. See the pricing page for the range.

See it before you decide

A remote demo shows what the audience sees: a Holoconnects team member appears on the Holobox in Culemborg and you watch from your own desk. You can also visit the studio in Culemborg, the Netherlands.

Can a speaker appear as a hologram at my event without flying in?

Yes. With Holoconnects the speaker stands in a studio, a capture rig records them in real time, and they appear life size on a Holobox on your stage. The speaker can also be pre-recorded, which needs no network at the event. At the FAO World Food Forum in Rome a speaker was beamed onto the stage on The 86, the 86-inch Holobox, in a live session with a moderator.

Can the speaker hear and answer the audience?

Yes, in the live mode. Audio runs both ways through microphones and speakers at both ends, so the speaker can take questions from the room. At ITC ILO in Turin the Secretary General spoke live from Geneva and answered questions from the audience.

What do I need at the venue?

A Holobox on the stage (The 86 for a stage), a wired internet connection of at least 10 Mbps up and 10 Mbps down at both ends for the live mode, and microphones and speakers. Specific ports need to be opened. The full technical specification is shared during project planning.

Can one CEO appear at several stages at the same time?

Yes. One origin Holobox can broadcast to several destination Holoboxes at once, so a CEO can address several event stands or venues with the same live presence.

Is it a real hologram?

A Holobox is a transparent LCD in front of a light box. It shows a person at life size with perceived depth, to the naked eye, without a headset or glasses. It is the effect people mean when they ask for a hologram speaker, which is why we use the word.

Can I buy, lease or rent it?

All three are possible. The 86 starts at EUR 25,000 to buy. Rental and leasing are quoted per event or per period; see the rental page and the pricing page.
