A life-size hologram display, as Holoconnects builds it in the Holobox, shows a person or product at full height with perceived depth, seen with the naked eye by several people at once. No headset, no glasses, no app. Below: how it works, what it replaces, what it can show and what it needs.
How it works
The Holobox puts a transparent LCD in front of a custom-engineered light box. The light box gives the image depth, and the transparent screen lets the room show through, so a person reads as standing inside the unit. Nothing is projected onto glass, mist or a fan, which is why it works in ordinary indoor light, daylight included. The full explanation is in how a Holobox works.
What it replaces
- A flat screen where presence matters: a person at full height reads as someone in the room, not a picture on a wall.
- A trip, when the speaker, doctor or expert can appear live from somewhere else.
- A printed standee at an event, with a person who moves and speaks instead.
- A staffed desk in the empty hours, when an AI human runs on it and hands over to a colleague when needed.
What it can show
- Live: a two-way connection with a real person somewhere else.
- Recorded: a welcome, a product story or a keynote, recorded at the Recording Station.
- AI: an AI human that answers visitors, as a digital human kiosk or a hologram receptionist.
Sizes
The life-size model is The 86, about two metres tall. The 75 and The 43 suit smaller spaces, and The 22 sits on a counter. Prices for every model are on the price list.
What it needs
